What does EAssist actually do for my DFA passport? ▾

We fill out and submit your personal information on the official DFA Online Appointment System, secure an available appointment slot at your preferred DFA office, and send you the appointment confirmation details. You just need to show up on your scheduled date with your documents.

Can I choose my preferred DFA office / site? ▾

Yes! You can specify your preferred DFA site in the form (e.g., DFA Aseana, DFA Robinsons Galleria, DFA Cebu). Availability of slots depends on the site — we book the earliest available slot at your preferred location. If none is available, we'll coordinate with you.

How long is a Philippine passport valid? ▾

Adult passports (18 years and above) are valid for 10 years. Passports issued to minors (below 18 years old) are valid for 5 years. It is recommended to renew at least 6 months before expiry, as some countries require at least 6 months validity upon entry.

What is the difference between Regular and Expedited processing? ▾

Regular Processing takes 10–12 working days after your DFA appointment and costs ₱950 in government fees. Expedited Processing takes 5–7 working days and costs ₱1,200 in government fees. EAssist's ₱200 service fee applies to both. Choose Expedited if your travel date is coming up soon.

What happens if I have a lost or damaged passport? ▾

The DFA charges an additional ₱350 penalty on top of the regular government fee for lost passport replacements. The total for Lost Passport processing is ₱1,500 (₱950 DFA fee + ₱350 penalty + ₱200 EAssist fee). You'll also need to execute an Affidavit of Loss, which you can have notarized before your appointment.

How and when will my passport be delivered? ▾

After your DFA appointment and processing, your passport will be delivered to the delivery address you provided in the form. Delivery is handled by the DFA's courier partner. You'll receive a tracking number from the DFA to monitor your delivery status.

Can EAssist process DFA passports for minors? ▾

Yes! We can book DFA appointments for minors. The minor must be accompanied by at least one parent on the appointment day. The parent's valid ID and the child's PSA Birth Certificate (and if applicable, the parents' PSA Marriage Certificate) must be brought to the DFA office.
