How long does the NBI clearance process take? ▾
NBI clearances with "No Record" result are typically released on the same day as the appointment. If there's a hit on the records, it may take additional days for verification. Door-to-door delivery adds courier transit time.
Do I need to go to the NBI office? ▾
For new applicants and pick-up renewals, yes — you must appear in person for biometric capture (fingerprinting and photo). For door-to-door renewal, your NBI clearance is delivered to your address, but some branches may still require in-person verification.
Can I choose my preferred NBI branch and date? ▾
Yes! You indicate your preferred branch and appointment date in our form. We'll do our best to book that exact slot, but if unavailable, we'll notify you and offer the nearest available date.
What if I already have an NBI account? ▾
