FAQ

Police Clearance Questions Answered

What is the NPCS portal and why do I need it?
The National Police Clearance System (NPCS) is the official online portal of the PNP for scheduling police clearance appointments. Applicants must register and book an appointment online before visiting a police station. We handle all of that for you.
Can I choose my preferred police station?
Yes! You can specify your preferred police station in the form. Since it varies by location, you'll type in the station name (e.g., "Quezon City Police District — Station 1"). We'll book the nearest available slot at that station.
How long is police clearance valid?
Police clearance is generally valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. Some agencies or employers may require a more recently dated clearance, so always check with the requesting party.
Who qualifies for the First-Time Job Seeker rate?
Under Republic Act 11261, first-time job seekers who are graduating or have recently graduated from school and are looking for their first employment are entitled to a waiver of government-required fees — including the police clearance fee. You'll only pay EAssist's service fee of ₱150.
When are police clearance appointments available?
PNP Clearance is processed Monday to Friday only. We recommend choosing a date at least 1 business day from your submission to allow us time to complete your booking. Weekends and holidays are not available for appointments.
